So this is a few shots of the things I made for Christmas 2012.......
Christmas stocking for our neighbours. |
Christmas cupcakes - recipe from The Hummingbird Bakery Cake Days |
Bookmark for my Mum |
Gingerbread cupcakes - recipe also from The Hummingbird Bakery Cake Days. It's a good book for seasonal ideas! |
Old-fashioned chocolate cake (with snowflake sprinkles!) - recipe from Feast by Nigella Lawson |
Christmas stocking for my best friend (and I bought the card from my local farmer's market). |
Blondies - recipe from The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook |
I made a santa sack for a family I am good friends with. |
I used a panel of lobsters which I had screenprinted for the front. |
For the back I used some gorgeous Christmas fabric one of my quilt group friends gave me in a disappearing 9-patch pattern. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the finished sack. D'oh ho ho! |
I made these tree ornaments as party favours for my quilt group and book group Christmas parties. |
The pattern is from Kasja Wikman's book Scandinavian Stitches. |
It's called Scandinavian houses. |
I made the hangers from string. |
I gave the quillters one of these badges each. |
They looked pretty packaged up with a candy cane.
Hope your Christmas was fun.
Happy new year!
