Baked

So I've been trying to cut down on the baking. Creaming together butter and sugar until they are light and fluffy is one of my favourite things to do but the results are not so healthy. Here is a little taster of some of the baked goods that made it through the embargo.

Blue for Boys Cupcakes

My Dad's Birthday Cake (an old-fashioned chocolate cake from Nigella Lawson's 'Feast')

Rhubarb and Almond Loaf (all that rain has made for a superb crop of rhubarb!)

Caramel Cupcakes for my kids' youth group

You can have your cake and eat it (occasionally, for a treat!)
